General Rules and Regulations / Основні правила та засади
-- The Festival Language is English.
Фестиваль проводиться англійською мовою
-- No entry fee
Участь у фестивалі є безкоштовною
-- Schools can take part in the competition with only one production.
Кожна школа може представляти лише одну виставу
-- Teachers and students are responsible for the good behaviour of the members of their company. Disturbances during rehearsals and performances will not be tolerated.
Вчителі та учні несуть відповідальність за порушення правил поведінки.
-- The maximum time allowed for each production is 15 minutes
На показ вистави відведено 15 хвилин.
-- Before the performance, each production is allowed a 5 minute set-up and strike for decoration and equipment.
Для підготовки декорацій на сцені надається 5 хвилин перед показом вистави.
-- All participants have to obey fire and safety regulations; Smoking, drinking alcohol or using any open flame (e.g. candle, kerosene lamp, candle enclosed in glass, oil lamp, etc.) will result in disqualification.
Всі учасники мають дотримуватися правил пожежної та загальної безпеки. Забороняється палити, вживати алкогольні напої, використовувати відкрите полум’я.
-- No live animals may be used in production
Не можна залучати тварин до показу вистави.
-- It is school directors’ responsibility to inform the students that the students must secure their own money and personal possessions. The Host director and the host school are not responsible for lost money or possessions.
Адміністрація школи не несе відповідальності за гроші та матеріальні цінності залишені без догляду. Директор та школа організатор фестивалю також не несуть відповідальності за втрачені речі.
-- Each performance is timed by official timers.
Час кожної вистави буде контролюватись таймерами.
-- A school ensemble may consist of 2-15 student actors.
Шкільна театральна трупа може складітьсь з 2-15 чоловік.
-- No lavaliere microphones or other audio devices are permitted for actor’s speech and dialogue. Exceptions will be made only for sound effects and songs\music relevant to the play. Під час вистави актори не можуть користуватися мікрофонами чи іншими звукопередачами. Звукове обладнання дозволяється застосовувати лише для звукових ефектів, музики та співу.
-- There is no age limitation in the competition and actors’ age will not have effect in the evaluation.
Не існує вікових меж для участі в конкурсі. Вік акторів не впливатиме на оцінювання. -- Performance order will be determined randomly in the school representatives meeting. Порядок виступу шкіл буде визначений жеребкуванням під час попередньої зустрічі представників шкіл-учасників.
-- Equipment which will be used in performance must be indicated clearly in application form. Декорації та обладнання використовувані у виставі повинні бути чітко зазначені у заявці на виступ.
-- Please write a synopsis of the play, not more than 120 words long.
--Будь ласка пишіть зміст драми не більше 120 слів.

2nd Place: Cup+ 750 Hryvnias to the Team Leader
3rd Place: Cup + 500 Hryvnias to the Team Leader
The Best Actor: Mobile Phone

>Best Scene award will be given to school ensembles not to a person in the group.
>Найвищу нагороду буде надано не окремому учаснику, а шкільній групі.
>All the participants will get presents
>Всім учасникам буде надано подарунки

Elimination round: 30th OF MARCH 2012 10:00 A.M (it will held in Lyceum Chernomorsky)
Final: 6th OF APRIL 2012 (в 16.00 в ДК политехнического университета по адресу: пр-т Шевченко, 1а.)
JUDGING / Оцінювання:
Performances will be primarily judged on, but not limited to, the following:
Виставу буде оцінено за наступними критеріями:
• Thematic clarity / Тематика
• Characterization / Постановка
. Articulation/Pronunciation / Вимова, артикуляція
• Strength of ensemble / Сценічне взаємо порозуміння команди
• Originality of interpretation / Оригінальність інтерпретації
. Use of Props and Costumes / Використання костюмів та декорацій
• Timing / Дотримання регламенту
